1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Swayamvar Vivah Sanstha ("Swayamvar", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering, accessing, or using our website, mobile application, or matchmaking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To register as a member of Swayamvar, you must strictly fulfill the following legal conditions:

• You must be legally competent to marry under Indian law or the law of the jurisdiction applicable to you.
• Minimum age: 21 years for male applicants and 18 years for female applicants.
• You must be legally single (Never Married, Divorced, or Widowed). Any person whose divorce proceedings are pending in court is not permitted to register without proper legal disclosure.
• The registration must be done for a bonafide matrimonial intention. Swayamvar is not a casual dating, escort, or friendship service.

3. Authenticity of Profile Information

You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete details regarding your age, educational qualifications, marital status, religion, caste, occupation, annual income, and family background.

Misrepresentation, impersonation, or submitting fraudulent documents or photographs will result in immediate termination of the profile without refund, and potential reporting to law enforcement authorities.

4. Member Conduct & Safety

As a member, you agree NOT to:

• Solicit money, loans, or financial favors from any prospective match under any circumstances.
• Harass, stalk, abuse, or send offensive or unsolicited communications to other members.
• Upload obscene, defamatory, copyrighted, or inappropriate photographs or material.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or scraping tools to extract profile data.

5. Verification & Due Diligence

While Swayamvar performs screening and verification steps (e.g., OTP verification, document review), it is the primary and absolute responsibility of the prospective bride, groom, and their families to independently verify the character, financial standing, marital status, health, and family background of any match before finalizing any alliance.

6. Account Deletion & Marriage Closure

Members are requested and encouraged to delete or deactivate their profile via the Settings page immediately upon marriage finalization to avoid receiving further matrimonial inquiries and to maintain community database cleanliness.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or related to our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune / Maharashtra, India.
